Floor glass lamp with a swirl Design from the German brand Wofi Leuchten (Copy)

Large red and white ILU di Vetro glass XL table floor lamp.

Light zebra pattern. Italian glass. Dutch design modern swirl striped. Design and release is by the Dutch company ILU design. This lamp was part of their Vetro line. The lamps from the Vetro line are all made with glass from Italy. The model is called Zebra and this is the red version. The beautiful "zebra" swirl runs from bottom to top around the shade. The swirls are added manually, making each one unique. The size is quite large, so the lamp looks beautiful on a sideboard or low cabinet but is also very suitable as a floor lamp. The glass shade rests on a white coated metal base and is fastened with three brass screws that can be loosened and tightened by hand. Beautiful shape reminiscent of a pebble. The lamp is marked with an ILU sticker label near the bottom edge and on the lamp holder. This also states "Made in Holland. Dimensions: Height: approx. 31 cm Diameter: at widest point approx. 45 cm Thickness of the glass: approx. 0.4 cm Condition: Excellent to new condition. At the bottom there is a small black spot in the glass, see photo. Also, the coated base has some wear spots on it as the lamp has served as a floor lamp. Both are not visible when the lamp is in place. The ILU Zebra lamps are made in 4 sizes in this indented pebble shape. The sizes M and L work the most frequently sold. This XL size is quite rare!
